“The Series in the Eye of the Beholder combines macro photography of eyes and flowers taken by the artist into an image that is a whirlwind of colours and patterns.
The flowers gently blossom inside the colourful iris, blending with their colours and patterns into its connective tissues and fibres, while the centre of the flowers become fused into the pupil. Flower and eye become one single entity.
Those images also vaguely remind us of black holes, supernova explosions, planetary nebulas, showing us how we are connected to the Universe and how shapes and colours of nature can be
found in different places. Those images allow us to once again reconnect with the deepest parts of nature and showing us us how micro cosmos and macro cosmos are interconnected.”
