Description

The Lenticular edition works by utilising varying image perspectives that have been manipulated by the artist to makes the artwork slowly change depending on your viewpoint angle. The artwork morphs from Dorothy in her full tattooed glory (while now cheekily winking as well), to her black & white version while her tattoo’s delicately vanish away, which results in a particularly fitting version of the famous JJ portrait. The reason for the use of both artworks was as tribute to the original Wizard of Oz movie which famously begins in black and white and then transforms into full technicolour.

Framed in Contemporary Black Straight edged Wood Moulding with matching black wood mount slip for added depth under the glass front.
