Studio IMO
Studio IMO (Ibi Meier-Oruitemeka) is a self-taught artist based in the UK who began painting in May 2024. She quickly developed a strong connection to acrylic paints, using them as a medium for heartfelt expression. Her work is inspired by her British-Nigerian heritage, often delving into themes of human connection and solitude. Ibi's debut collection sold out within a week of being shared online, followed by her second collection, which sold out in under an hour. Currently, she is working on a new series of paintings and other exciting projects. Ibi lives in a small coastal town with her partner and two young children and is also the founder of the award-winning organic hair and skincare brand, The Afro Hair & Skin Co.
