The leading art gallery and picture framer in East London
Stella Parslow is one of those artists who learned the necessary skills on her own. She initially made a start with enamel and eggshells. She soon started experimenting with other techniques such as watercolour and gouache. This allowed her to come up with a collection of fine works which were all unique. All these fine works have been widely published.
In the past, she focused on hand painted mounts and her main style was “allover painted” frames. These works were a part of her reputation for many years. They were previously signed as Parslow-Reading on account of her ex-marriage. Now she completes her works under the name of Parslow.
Parslow in her works has exhibited her love for water, sky and landscape. These aspects of nature have influenced her to a great extent and this is recognizable in her idiosyncratic style. She has now come up with collections of landscapes created with oils as part of her new technique she developed with acrylics.
