Oli Fowler
Oli Fowler, originally from Kimpton, Hertfordshire, moved to London in 1999 to study fashion and textiles at Central Saint Martins. He later earned a BA in Graphic Design from Camberwell College of Arts. Specializing in screen printing, Oli employs a range of techniques, including photography, photomontage, and illustration, in his creative process. He embraces experimentation and allows for mistakes, which guide him towards his final pieces. His recent works feature abstract compositions with a collage scrapbook style, utilizing photographs of objects, textures, and even tinfoil sculptures. Many of his pieces are enhanced with glitter or paint, and he uses pure CMYK four-color printing processes for his final screen prints. Oli has received commissions from notable figures such as Jeremy Deller and Fiona Banner, as well as companies like Island Records and The Museum of London. Oli celebrated a successful first solo show at Images In Frames in 2022.
