Mychael Barratt
Mychael Barratt, a Canadian-born artist based in London for over 30 years, is known for his multidisciplinary work, spanning narrative art, printmaking, cartography, curating, and writing. His creative exploration of various printmaking techniques led him to become president of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Barratt has curated international exhibitions, including two annual print exhibitions at Bankside Gallery and The Masters Gallery in Canada. His deep love for London is evident in his art, which gained him recognition across the city. Barratt was the artist-in-residence at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and collaborated on a large-scale mural project for the 2012 London Olympics. His work is housed in prestigious collections such as The Royal Collection, British Museum, Royal Academy, and Victoria & Albert Museum. Additionally, he has authored three books: Intaglio Printmaking, The Master's Muse: Artists' Cats and Dogs, and London Map of Days.
