Laura Jordan
Laura Jordan, a renowned British illustrator, is celebrated for her intricate and expansive cityscapes that offer both artistic beauty and sharp social commentary. Her work reflects a deep interest in urban issues, particularly the stark class disparities in poverty-stricken areas. This focus allows Laura to capture the essence of major cities around the world, blending technical precision with insight into local events and policies. Each piece is meticulously crafted by drawing small sections, which are then combined into a cohesive cityscape. Laura studied graphic design and editorial illustration at the London College of Communication, graduating in 2007. Born in 1984 and raised in Haslemere, Surrey, she moved to London in 2004 and continues to live and work there.
