Haus Of Lucy is a contemporary multimedia artist known for her innovative ceramic figurines. She transforms old, kitschy porcelain ornaments into fresh creations, like a small boy in an Adidas hoodie sitting on a countryside fence, or a Regency lady walking her dog in a litter-strewn park with waste bags. Each piece is crafted using polymer clay and ceramic paint, telling its own unique story.
Lucy applies this same concept to her print series, where she juxtaposes classic landscape paintings with anachronistic motifs, such as an easyJet plane gliding through a 15th-century sunset or a Shell Oil truck disrupting a 19th-century pastoral scene.
Her distinctive style has led to collaborations with brands like Adidas, Footlocker, and Lazy Oaf, and she was recently commissioned by Greggs and Primark to create a range of figurines for their collaboration—though she’s still waiting for her lifetime supply of vegan sausage rolls. Lucy thrives on the contrast between old and new, blending urban elements with classic themes.
