Frankie Thorp
Frankie is a London-based artist whose work playfully reimagines everyday objects with a nostalgic and humorous twist. Blending contemporary still life with retro influences, she draws inspiration from the kitsch aesthetics of the ‘70s and ‘80s—think flamboyant cocktails, decadent desserts, and vibrant table settings. Her compositions go beyond simple representation, instead hinting at untold stories and fleeting moments, evoking the anticipation of a gathering or the lingering atmosphere after a night of celebration. Through her bold use of colour, texture, and form, she creates immersive table-scapes that feel both familiar and whimsical. Frankie’s work celebrates the joy of shared experiences, nostalgia, and the carefree euphoria of a long, lazy summer afternoon.
