Florence Mytum Ceramics
Florence Mytum is a visual and ceramic artist based in East London. After studying Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Art and completing her MA at the Slade School of Fine Art in 2018, she pursued a career in sculpture and installation art. In 2020, Florence launched Florence Mytum Ceramics, blending her sculptural background with a passion for creating bold, colourful, and tactile ceramics.
Her work celebrates the interplay of colour, texture, and form, with each piece handcrafted from stoneware clay in her East London studio. Using bright, handmade glazes, Florence decorates her ceramics with vibrant colours and tactile surfaces, ensuring every piece is truly unique. As Florence says, “My ceramics are for those who dare to defy homogenised interiors filled with mass-produced products, and instead choose quirky, distinctive, handcrafted pieces for their homes."
